YEREVAN. - Sinan Bodmer, one of the co-founders of the Liormand Holdings Limited offshore company, which is going to purchase the Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA), works at Fora Bank, owned by Russia-based Armenian businessman Samvel Karapetyan.

As it turned out, Liormand Holdings Limited, registered in Cyprus, belongs to another company, Marcuard Heritage, as reported by Azatutyun. The official website mentions Sinan Bodmer as one of its co-founders.

Fora Bank is in its turn owned by Samvel Karapetyan’s Tahsir Group companies. According to the bank’s official website, Sinan Bodmer has been running the Moscow-based office of Marcuard Heritage since 2003, and has simultaneously been the member of the Fora Bank Council of Directors since 2007.

Radio Azatutyun didn’t manage to get the comments of the Tashir Group press-service on whether Samvel Karapetyan is the buyer of the “Electric Networks of Armenia” (ENA).

The brother of the Moscow-based businessman Karen Karapetyan, who is an MP in Armenian parliament, neither confirmed nor denied the information.

As it turned out earlier, the Russian “Inter RAO UES” company is going to sell the “Electric Networks of Armenia” to an offshore company, but it’s yet unknown who is behind that company.
