At 3:30 p.m. Yerevan time the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a call on fire in Sevan-Dilijan tunnel. A bus caught fire in the tunnel, Ministry’s press secretary Nikolay Grigoryan told NEWS.am.

According to preliminary information, the driver managed to escape from the bus, whereas his wife and child died. Their names are presently being clarified.

The rescuers have arrived at the site. Tunnel is covered with smoke. There were no other vehicles in the tunnel.
