The 71-year-old inventor Henrik Mkhitaryan, who was a mathematics teacher, is the author of 23 inventions, with 16 of them patented at the RA Intellectual Property Agency. According to Mkhitaryan, his inventions are worth a Nobel Prize. Talking to NEWS.am, he said that a number of Armenian scientists say his inventions can apply for a presidential prize. However, neither the Presidential Prize Commission nor the RA Academy of Sciences wants to discuss the inventions, as they prove the “inaccuracy of some physical laws.”

“My experiments prove some physical formulas to be wrong,” the inventor said. According to him, his “perpetuum mobile” has 100% efficiency, which runs counter to the energy conservation law.

“No one has ever proved the energy conservation law, and violations of such laws are not in discussed in any way,” Mkhitaryan said. According to him, the “perpetuum mobile” can serve as a basis for obtaining electric energy or warm water and cols air without any waste. “No nuclear-power plant is needed then,” the inventor says.

Among his patented inventions is “an exhaust-disposing muffler.” His “wasteless method of trash burning” and “boiler room” are environmentally friendly inventions.

Is it fantasy or reality? It is a question. The RA Intellectual property Agency is to consider justifications and proofs in registering inventions. The fact is that the RA Academy of Sciences, government agencies and business circles do not take Mkhitaryan’s inventions seriously. On the other hand, if the inventions have nothing in common with science, how can a government agency issue patents for them? Avetis Peryan, Head of the Inventions Department, told NEWS.am that each invention undergoes an expert examination before a patent is issued. “We issue patents for inventions that do not break laws, are in conformity with physical laws and operative. The market determines their utility,” Peryan said.
