YEREVAN. – Iran is interested in cooperation with Armenia in mining, tourism, industry, and in several other domains.

Chairman of the Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture (ICCIMA), Mohsen Jalalpour, said the abovementioned at his talk with Armenian Ambassador Artashes Tumanyan.

Jalalpour also underscored the further development and deepening of Armenian-Iranian economic relations, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Ambassador Tumanyan, for his part, highlighted the role of the ICCIMA in the increasing of the volume of trade turnover and implementation of mutual investment projects between the two countries.

He added that, after the Iran nuclear agreement and Armenia’s accession into the Eurasian Economic Union, new opportunities have been created for the expansion of trade and economic relations between the two countries.
