YEREVAN. – An International Center for Relativistic Astrophysics Network (ICRANet) will open in Armenia.

The National Assembly on Friday ratified the respective agreement, and by a vote of 104 for and none against.

ICRANet is an international organization promoting research activities.

Its members are Armenia (National Academy of Sciences), Brazil, Italy, France, the Vatican State, the University of Tucson (USA), and Stanford University(USA).

The ICRANet coordinating centre is in Pescara, Italy.

Several working groups carry out activities within the framework of this network, and the Armenian experts primarily research the chaotic effects inside star systems and galaxies.
