YEREVAN. – Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan on Monday visited the Embassy of France in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia.

Abrahamyan extended condolences—on behalf of the Armenian government and on his own behalf—to French Ambassador Jean-François Charpentier, the embassy staff, and the friendship people of France, in connection with the terrorist attacks that took place in Paris.

The Armenian PM also signed the book of condolences, which has opened at the French embassy on Monday.

Simultaneous terrorist attacks occurred on the evening of November 13, in different parts of the French capital city.

According to official data, these attacks claimed more than 130 lives, but the media report about over 150 casualties.

A state of emergency has been declared in France.
