YEREVAN. – All of Armenia’s interstate and national roads are open for traffic, as of Tuesday at 9:30am, informed the Ministry of Transport and Communication.
But it is snowing in Jermuk, Saravan and Meghri, and sleeting in the Tigranashen and Vardenyats (Selim) Passes.
The road crews are scattering salt and sand on the motorways to ensure safe travel.
The ministry advises drivers to use winter tires on their vehicles.
