YEREVAN. – All of Armenia’s interstate and national roads are open for traffic, as of Wednesday at 9:30am, informed the Ministry of Transport and Communication.
But it is snowing in Sisian, Goris and Meghri, there is black ice on some parts of the Sisian-Goris motorway and Vardenyats (Selim) Pass, and there is thick fog in the Meghri area.
The road crews are scattering salt and sand on the motorways to ensure safe travel.
The ministry advises drivers to use winter tires on their vehicles.
