The 4th international musical festival is to be held in Yerevan on September 11-22.

The press service of the State Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia informed NEWS.am that the opening ceremony will be held at the Aram Khachaturyan hall.

The festival will be held under the patronage of Armenia’s First Lady Rita Sargsyan.

The art directors of the festival are the cellist Alexander Chaushyan and the conductor Eduard Topchyan. He will conduct the 10th symphony by Shostakovich to be performed at the opening ceremony. The French pianist François-Frédéric Guy will perform Piano Concerto No. 2 by Johannes Brahms.
