The Russian government is going to ban the imports of certain products from Turkey, Izvestia daily of Russia reported citing its sources close to the Ministry of Agriculture of the country.
According to the daily, the respective list comprises several types of meat products, milk and dairy products, fish, seafood, soil products, fruits, vegetables, greens, and berries.
It is reported that the full list of these economic sanctions will be issued on Tuesday.
Russia is taking such measures against Turkey in connection with the incident on November 24, when the Turkish air force shot down a Russian Su-24 attack aircraft/interdictor on the Turkish-Syrian border. The warplane was taking part in the antiterrorism operations in Syria.
Turkey has not yet apologized for its action.
