YEREVAN. – The Prime Minister of Armenia, Hovik Abrahamyan, on Monday convened a consultation. 

At the meeting, the discussants conferred on the avenues for promoting the country’s exports, informed the Press Office of the Government of Armenia.
In addition, PM Abrahamyan approved the proposal for setting up an export promotion council, which will deal with long-term challenges, and also provide operational support to the exporting companies of Armenia. 

He stressed that such measures need to be taken so as to push the Armenian economy forward, and expressed a conviction that joint efforts will record respective success.
