YEREVAN. – Due to snowstorm, fog and low visibility, several motorways in Armenia are difficult to drive as of Wednesday 5pm, informed the Ministry of Transport and Communication.

In addition, the Berd-Chambarak motorway and Vardenyats (Selim) Pass are still closed for traffic, and due to zero visibility and heavy snowstorm.

The road crews are scattering salt and sand on the motorways and are also cleaning and widening them to ensure safe travel.

The ministry advises drivers not to travel on the motorways that are difficult to pass.
