YEREVAN. – The newly appointed Ambassador of Armenia to US, Grigor Hovhannissyan, has not declared his properties and earnings for the second year, Haykakan Zhamanak reported.
“Persons related to Hovhannissyan—his wife and two children—have not submitted a [respective] declaration at all.
“We learn from Grigor Hovhannissyan’s only declaration [in 2014] that he does not have movable and immovable property.
“The newly appointed ambassador’s funds have amounted to 12 million [Armenian] drams [approx. $24,742] at the beginning of the fiscal year, whereas 10 million drams [approx. $20,618] at the end of the fiscal year.
“In the fiscal year, the ambassador’s revenues amounted to 30 thousand dollars, which were only wages [as Armenia’s Ambassador to Mexico and several other Central American countries].
“The income which Grigor Hovhannissyan received in return for loans amounted to 13 million drams [approx. $26,804],” Haykakan Zhamanak wrote.
