YEREVAN. – The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 488.23 $1 in Armenia on Tuesday, a 0.24 point rise as compared to Monday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 529.19 (up by AMD 1.38), that of one British pound was AMD 693.87 (down by AMD 2), the rate of one Russian ruble comprising AMD 6.08 (down by AMD 0.11), according to the Central Bank of Armenia press service.

One gram of silver, gold, and platinum amounted to AMD 223.21, AMD 17,370.25, and AMD 13.530.78, respectively.

No foreign currency transactions were registered at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Tuesday. No transactions in dollar have been registered at the stock exchange in the current year.
