An Iranian prisoner died in the penitentiary in Azerbaijan, APA agency reports referring to the Garadagh district prosecutor’s office.

The incident occurred at the 13th penitentiary of the Justice Ministry. Citizen of the Islamic Republic of Iran Gulamhuseyn Abdulrazaq, who was serving the sentence in that penitentiary, died as a result of heart attack.

Abdulrazaq was sentenced to six years of imprisonment by the Grave Crimes Court of Azerbaijan three years ago.
