YEREVAN. – According to the data of the Embassy of Armenia in Syria, there are no Armenians among the casualties of Sunday’s major terrorist attacks that occurred in the Syrian capital city of Damascus.

Spokesperson at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Tigran Balayan, told the aforesaid Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Some 80 people died and around 200 others were injured in the three terrorist bombings in Damascus.  

The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) jihadist militant group has claimed responsibility for these attacks.
