YEREVAN. - President – Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) coalition is being formed and this is done to weaken the positions of the current PM.
Expert on political and electoral technologies, Armen Badalyan, told the aforementioned to Armenian News – NEWS.am correspondent.
In his words, the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) actually plays no role in the negotiation process. Instead the Armenian President – ARF-D talks are underway.
And the ruling party, according to the expert, has become the third party with the active participation of the current PM.
“At this stage, RPA needs no coalition; cooperation with ARF-D is advantageous to the current Armenian President. The objective is one – to weaken the positions of the PM in the Government. And ARF-D hopes that getting administrative leverages, it will be able to get involved in the next parliament,” Badalyan said.
