YEREVAN. – The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 495.88 $1 in Armenia on Monday, a 0.69 point rise as compared to the previous day.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 552.26 (up by AMD 1.16), that of one British pound was AMD 709.31 (up by AMD 0.45), the rate of one Russian ruble comprising AMD 6.60 (up by AMD 0.18), according to the Central Bank of Armenia press service.

One gram of silver, gold, and platinum amounted to AMD 243.13, AMD 19,290.92, and AMD 14.970.39, respectively.

No foreign currency transactions were registered at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Thursday.
