YEREVAN. – In the near future, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Armenia will have a deputy minister who will be engaged in external economic matters. 

President Serzh Sargsyan on Friday noted the aforesaid at the consultations, which he has begun with the country’s ambassadors and mission chiefs to foreign countries and international organizations. 

“I think it’s very important that, together with out Ministry of Economy, Development Agency and the other ministries, these people in this organization will be able to coordinate and channel our efforts in one direction,” Sargsyan noted. “Of course, all interstate commissions also will be involved in this process, and matters relating to economic issues will be discussed.”
