Russia, under the declarations of making strikes against the Islamic State, is making strikes against the civilians in Syria, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu stated.

He noted that Russia is the biggest obstacle standing in the way of resolving the Syrian conflict, according to Internethaber website of Turkey.

“The Russians used the Geneva talks as a smokescreen to intensify the airstrikes in Syria,” Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said. “The UN and UNSC [i.e. the UN Security Council] members should curb the aggression of Russia.”
