There has been an escalation of tension along the Line of Contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces, from Wednesday to early Thursday morning.

During this time the Azerbaijani armed forces fired around 1,700 shots at the Armenian military positions, and by way of rifle weaponry.

Vanguard units of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Defense Army, however, adequately responded to the provocative actions by the adversary, and they took necessary steps to confidently maintain their military positions along the entire Line of Contact.
