YEREVAN. – The Government of Armenia will allocate €500.9 thousand for the preparation of the bidding documents for the Vedi Reservoir.

The respective decision was made at Thursday’s Cabinet meeting.

Accordingly, funds will be provided for the preparation of the construction bid package, and so as to start construction within a short jump of time.

The French Development Agency (AFD) is funding the construction of a large irrigation reservoir in Vedi town in Ararat Province, and with a €75-million loan.
