The security guards of the Turkish president began to panic on noticing swollen asphalt on the road by which Erdoğan’s car passed.

The bewildered guards immediately called the police and opened the asphalt with the help of bomb technicians, the Turkish Cumhuriyet newspaper writes.

However, nothing suspicious was discovered. The asphalt turned out to have swollen due to the water leaking from a neighboring manhole.
