YEREVAN. - The balanced policy of Armenia finds great perception on the international arena, Armenia President’s message on occasion of Diplomats' Day reads.

The message mentions that during 25 years of Armenia’s independence, the diplomacy has reached serious achievements, the President’s press-service reports. 

According to the message, establishment of diplomatic ties with 160 countries, membership to ninety international organizations and signing of about 2000 international agreements is a vivid proof of this.

The President reminded that holding of thousands of events in the framework of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide also became possible thanks to the active efforts of diplomats.  

In his words, its symbolic that the Diplomats’ Day is marked in the new building of the Armenian MFA, designed with consideration of the peculiarities of diplomatic service.

“I’m sure that new creative initiatives and proposals will come up here,” the president noted.
