YEREVAN. - Upon the decree of President of Armenia Serzh Sarsgyan, Robert Harutyunyan has been assigned to the post of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The new Deputy FM is the son of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) faction MP Khosrov Harutyunyan.
Robert Harutyunyan was born on 2 May 1975. In 1998, he graduated from the Financial Academy by the Government of the Russian Federation (B.A. in Finance and Credits). In 2007 -10 he studied at the Yerevan State University (candidate, insurance). He also holds Master’s degree in MBA from the Swiss Business School.
1998-99 – specialist at the Currency Transaction Department at the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA),
1991-2002 – head of the Currency Transaction Department at the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA),
2002-2008 гг – CEO of Foreign Financial Programs Management Center of the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Armenia,
2008-14 – Director General of Armenian Development Agency (ADA) CJSC,
Since January 12 – member of Eurasian Economic Commission Board (Minister).
