Tension on Karabakh-Azerbaijan contact line maintains at night

Tension along the Line of Contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces continued, from Friday to early Saturday morning.

During this time the Azerbaijani armed forces fired around 1,300 shots at the Armenian military positions, and by way of rifle weaponry.

In addition, the adversary made use of mortars and a grenade launcher toward some sections of the Line of Contact.

As a result of the retaliatory actions taken by the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Defense Army vanguard units, however, the aggressive “activeness” by Azerbaijan was quelled.
