The shared objective of Turkey and Iran is to end ethnic conflicts in the region.
Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu, who is in the Iranian capital city of Tehran on an official visit, stated the aforementioned after his talk with First Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri of Iran.
“Our [bilateral] relations are very important for world stability,” Davutoğlu added, according to NTV television of Turkey.
In his words, Turkey has been an intimate country for Iran, in times of difficulties.
The Turkish PM added that Iran is a gateway to the East for Turkey, and Turkey is a gateway to the West for Iran, reported RIA Novosti news agency of Russia.
