Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin, who on Friday visited the Azerbaijani capital city of Baku, is pleased with the outcome of his talk with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov.

Karasin told TASS news agency of Russia that the meeting was constructive.

“We discussed bilateral relations, [and] the schedule of upcoming meetings at the political level,” the Russian deputy FM said. “Naturally, there was talk [also] about regional issues, the South Caucasus, [and] our relations with the leading countries in the region.”

Grigory Karasin added that the meeting was productive and very interesting.
