YEREVAN. – The President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, on Tuesday extended his congratulations to women, on International Women’s Day.

“Today we honor our women, the protectors of the warmth of our families, and the maturity of our society,” Sargsyan’s message specifically reads, according to the Presidential Press Office. “The women have a greater role now than they had ever before in our country.

“The women’s increasing role in Armenia, for its part, will continuously strengthen the indicators of peaceful coexistence, fair work, and creativity, [and] which we consider truly key.”
