STEPANAKERT. – The adversary continued violating the ceasefire along the Line of Contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces, on Monday and Tuesday.

During this time the Azerbaijani armed forces fired more than 12,000 shots at the Armenian military positions, and by way of rifle weaponry.

The Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Defense Army informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that the Defense Army vanguard units, however, took actions to quell the aggressive “activeness” by the adversary. 

In addition, the Azerbaijani media on Tuesday “reported” that, allegedly, the Armenian armed forces had opened fire towards shepherds in Çaylu village in Azerbaijan.  

But press service of the NKR Defense Army stated that this is misinformation and, unlike Azerbaijan, the Armenian armed forces never shoot at civilians.
