YEREVAN. – The President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, on Thursday will conduct a working visit to Russia.

The Presidential Press Office informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that within the framework of the visit, in Moscow, Sargsyan will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

They will discuss cooperation between the two strategic partners in domains such as trade and economy, investments, energy, and humanitarian issues as well as matters pertinent to the prospects for the development of integration processes in the Eurasian space.

Also, Presidents Sargsyan and Putin will exchange views on the current phase in the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process, the existing challenges, and the avenues to move this process forward.

On the same day, President Serzh Sargsyan, who is also President of the Chess Federation of Armenia, will attend the official opening of the Candidates Tournament for the 2016 World Chess Championship.
