YEREVAN. - Armenia Airline will launch flights with three airplanes, planning to increase their number up to eight in the future.   

The airline shareholder, Tamaz Gaishvili, told the aforementioned to the journalists today.

The main fleet will consist of models 500, 700 and 800 of Boeing 737.

“In April we will have three planes, and two more will be added in June-July, that is we will have five of them. And by the end of the year, their number will reach about eight,” he added.

Besides Boeing, the company also plans to acquire CRJ planes.

Ashot Torosyan (51 percent), Robert Hovhannisyan (25 percent) and Tamaz Gaishvili (24 percent) are the airline shareholders.
