STEPANAKERT. – The adversary continued violating the ceasefire along the Line of Contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces, from Wednesday to early Thursday morning.

During this time the Azerbaijani armed forces fired more than 850 shots at the Armenian military positions, and by way of rifle weaponry.

The Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Ministry of Defense informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that the Defense Army vanguard units, however, are in full control over the frontline, and they continue confidently carrying out their military task. 

The NKR Ministry of Defense added that the Azerbaijani side not only continues to deliberately escalate the tension at the frontline, but also disseminates misinformation that, allegedly, the Armenian armed forces are shooting at Azerbaijani civilians, and they even “see danger in the flock of sheep.” 

Press service of the NKR Defense Army stated that it respects the civilians of Azerbaijan. As for the flock of sheep, this is not the first time that Azerbaijan compares its soldiers with sheep, and there are respective recordings on the Internet.
