YEREVAN. – A new system is to be launched soon for the financing of farms in Armenia.

This system will function within the framework of the Armenia Agricultural Sector Finance project, which the German-Armenian Fund is implementing, in cooperation with the German government-owned KfW Development Bank.

Accordingly, the Armenian local farmers’ access to loans will be organized through the innovative value chain financing. 

Unlike the traditional loan options, in this case the systemic, or the tripartite approach is applied. Thus, banks and loan companies become full financial partners and participants in the entire chain.
