On September 21, at 11:30 p.m. a car accident occurred at the junction of Leningradyan and Shinararner streets in Yerevan. The Mercedes ML, Opel and Vaz 2107 cars collided. Four passengers were immediately hospitalized with bodily injuries.

The police cordoned off the area but failed to control the situation for more than 30 minutes, as a great number of citizens gathered in the emergency site.

According to the witnesses, one of the injured passengers was Arpine Israelyan, a 20-year-old lead character of “Anna” soap opera, broadcasted on the Armenian Public Television.
