Iran, Russia, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Armenia will meet in Tbilisi in Arpil to discuss the project of setting up an electrical grid between the countries, the source at Energy Ministry of Iran told Sputnik news agency.

After the meeting with his Iranian colleagues in Tehran, the Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said that Iran and Russia are holding talks on setting up an electrical grid between the countries via Azerbaijan and Armenia.  

“A meeting will be held between Iran, Russia, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Armenia in the Georgian capital in April to discuss the project of the electrical grid between these countries,” the source said.
