The visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to Baku has been cancelled for the second time -  this time upon the demand of Azerbaijan.

Erdoğan couldn’t postpone his visit to Azerbaijan after the blast in Ankara today, but Baku insisted that the high-level cooperation forum between Turkey and Ankara be held in Ankara instead of Baku, Milliyet reports.

The demand to hold the event in Ankara instead of Baku comes from the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, the newspaper writes.

Erdoğan earlier cancelled his visit to Baku due to the car explosion in Ankara on February 17.
