President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, who is on an official visit to Greece, met Monday evening with representatives of the organizations of the Armenian community of Greece.

At the event, the President informed about the agenda of his trip to Greece, the results of his talks with Greek President Prokopis Pavlopoulos and the matters that were discussed, and responded to the questions posed by those in attendance.

Sargsyan stated that Armenian-Greek relations have entered the phase of state and political relations, in which, in his conviction, the Greek Armenian community has an important part.

Also, the President reflected on the domestic and foreign policy issues of Armenia, its development process, the key issues facing Armenia and the Armenian diaspora, regional and international challenges, and the numerous events that were held during the Armenian Genocide Centennial year in 2015 and as a result of coordinated Armenia-Diaspora work, including the activities carried out toward achieving the international recognition and condemnation of this genocide.
