YEREVAN. - Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) Dashnaktsutyun stands for the publication of the lists of the Armenian citizens who voted during the parliamentary elections.

Secretary of the ARF Dashnaktsutyun parliamentary faction Aghvan Vardanyan told the aforementioned to journalists today after the meeting of the party representatives with the experts of the Venice Commission and OSCE/ODIHR delegation over the draft Electoral Code of Armenia.

“We are for the publication of the voter lists. But if there are legal obstacles, we suggest finding mechanisms which will significantly increase the availability of these lists,” Aghvan Vardanyan said.

According to the MP, the draft Electoral Code restriction on the number of journalists and observers at electoral districts, as well as the mandatory inclusion of the national minorities in the voter lists is unclear for ARF-D.

In Vardanyan’s words, they discussed these issues with the experts of the Venice Commission and OSCE/ODIHR delegation.
