YEREVAN. - Armenia will expand the application field of government procurements.

The decision on this was adopted at the government session today.

Since 1 January 2014, government procurements on the basis of framework agreements are being carried out through Armeps electronic state procurement system.

Tenders on facilitated procedures have been carried out via the same system since 1 January 2014.

Now it is planned to extend this system also to the procurements without preliminary announcement and through direct talks.
