BRUSSELS. - President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan today made an address at the European People’s Party (EPP) summit held in Brussels.  

In his speech, Sargsyan referred to the dynamically developing relations between Armenia and EU, the process of cooperation in all the areas of mutual interest and large-scale reforms in Armenia, which are of great importance in the country’s relations with the EU, Armenian President’s press-service reports.

The President also touched on the developments in the Middle East and the ensuing migrant crisis which has become a serious challenge not only for the European countries but also the partner states and the entire humanity.

On the sidelines of the EPP summit, President Sargsyan met with the President of the Greek “Nea Democratia”party, Kyriakos Mitsotakis. The interlocutors discussed the inter-party cooperation development in the framework of EPP, as well as a number of issues of mutual interest.

They also touched on the Armenian President’s recent official visit to Greece and the agreements reached in its framework.

The delegation led by the president will return to Armenian tonight.
