YEREVAN. – President of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia, Galust Sahakyan, on Monday came to work, after a long absence
But Sahakyan, who looked pale, did not respond to the reporters’ questions.
The Armenian parliament speaker was hospitalized on February 17, due to a sharp fluctuation in his blood pressure. He was diagnosed with a transient blood circulation disorder and put under medical supervision.
Even though Galust Sahakyan was discharged from hospital on February 21, he has not been to work since then.
And on March 14, Sahakyan went abroad on a brief vacation, during which he also underwent medical examination.
NA Vice President Eduard Sharmazanov is the Acting NA President since then.
