Spokesperson at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Tigran Balayan, tweeted that a hotline has opened for the Armenian citizens who have been affected by Tuesday’s terrorism in Brussels.

The hotline number is: +32.2.3484406.

The Armenian diplomats in the Belgian capital city, and the Armenian National Assembly delegation, which is currently in Brussels, have not been affected by the blasts.

“For queries on family members or friends who are at the [Brussels] airport, call the following phone number: +32.2.7537300,” the Embassy of Armenia to Belgium tweeted, in turn. 

According preliminary information, 21 people were killed and more than 20 others were injured in the explosions that occurred Tuesday morning at Brussels Zaventem airport.

All flights are canceled, and the airport has been closed off.

In addition, three explosions rocked the subway system of the Belgian capital city.
