BRUSSELS. – Armenian youth have not gone missing after Tuesday’s terrorist acts in Brussels, the Embassy of Armenia to Belgium on Wednesday informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The Embassy staff noted that the diplomatic mission had received two petitions that the relatives could not find two Armenia youth. But, later, it was found out that the relatives of these youth were able to establish contact with them, and that they were found.

The Embassy had tweeted that, according to the Belgian authorities, at present, there are no Armenian citizens among the casualties in Tuesday’s blasts in Brussels.

Earlier it was reported that the Armenian diplomats in the Belgian capital city, and the Armenian National Assembly delegation, which is currently in Brussels, have not been affected by these explosions.

Two explosions occurred Tuesday morning at Brussels Zaventem airport. The Belgian prosecutor’s office confirmed that a suicide bomber had carried out this attack.

Shortly thereafter, there were more explosions in the Schuman and Maalbeek subway stations of the Belgian capital city.

These terrorist acts have claimed 34 lives and injured over 200 people.
