YEREVAN. – Numerous people on Friday came to Alexander Spendiarian Opera and Ballet National Academic Theatre, in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan, to bid their last goodbye to renowned Armenian opera singer and director Gegham Grigoryan, who passed away several days ago (PHOTOS)

President Serzh Sargsyan, First Lady Rita Sargsyan, Minister of Culture Hasmik Poghosyan, Minister of Health Armen Muradyan, and many political and cultural figures also came to bid their last farewell to Grigoryan.

Subsequently, his coffin was brought out of the theatre building with applause.

Gegham Grigoryan will be laid to his eternal rest at Komitas Pantheon in Yerevan.
