STEPANAKERT. - Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR; Artsakh) Karen Mirzoyan today received students and lecturers of the Pázmány Péter Catholic University of Hungary, who are on a study visit to capital city Stepanakert.
At the meeting, the FM welcomed the guests, noting that the already traditional visits of the Hungarian University students would not only allow them to get a true and comprehensive idea about Artsakh, but also establish a network with representatives of Artsakh university circles, Karabakh MFA press-service reports.
Karen Mirzoyan briefed the guests on the main directions of the NKR foreign policy and touched upon the process of international recognition of the NKR. He also stressed that the achievements in that direction contribute to the NKR’s international integration, as well as to the development and enhancement of cooperation in various spheres.
Apart from this, the FM answered the questions of the participants. Referring to the Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict settlement process, Mirzoyan noted that the reason for the lack of real progress is the destructive policy of the Azerbaijani authorities aimed at undermining the negotiation process at all costs.
