STEPANAKERT. – The adversary continued violating the ceasefire along the Line of Contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces, on Easter Sunday and Monday.

During this time the Azerbaijani armed forces fired more than 3,200 shots at the Armenian military positions, and primarily by way of rifle weaponry, the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Ministry of Defense reported in a statement.

As a result of the actions taken in response by the NKR Defense Army vanguard units, however, the adversary refrained from using large-caliber artillery.

Vanguard units of the NKR Defense Army are in full control over the frontline, and they continue confidently carrying out their military task.
