STEPANAKERT. - Battles are underway on the Karabakh–Azerbaijani Line of Contact.  

As a result of the large-scale military actions, the Karabakh Defense Army has annihilated one tank in the northeastern direction, as well as one BM-21 ''Grad'' launch vehicle, one unit of engineer equipment and one drone in the northern direction of Martakert, the Defense Army representatives told Armenian News – NEWS.am.   

The situation in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone dramatically escalated on Saturday night. From regular shootings and frequent sabotage-reconnaissance attempts, Azerbaijan has now moved to large-scale attack all along the Line of Contact, using a variety of weaponry as well as artillery, armored vehicles, and air force. Both sides have suffered losses.
