STEPANAKERT. - The Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Defense Army has suffered 36 casualties as a result of the large-scale aggression unleashed by Azerbaijani in the period from April 1 to 6.

Head of Operative Information Center of Karabakh Defense Ministry, Col. Victor Arustamyan, told the aforementioned to journalists today, Armenian News – NEWS.am special correspondent reports from Artsakh.

According to him, the tension of the previous day has significantly decreased. Ceasefire violations by way of rifle weaponry have been observed in separate directions: one serviceman got wounded in the northern part. The Armenian side has downed one of adversary’s drones in the direction of Aghdam.

According to the confirmed information, during the entire military actions the Defense Army suffered 36 casualties, 9 of whom were officers and non-commissioned officers. The figures are different as compared to the previous day since the bodies of four more servicemen were found in the battlefield. Another serviceman was found alive. Currently, there are 21 missing persons on the Armenian side.

122 servicemen were wounded as a result of the military actions. 24 of them areofficers and non-commissioned officers, 98 being contract soldiers.

According to Arustamyan, they have no final figure of the adversary’s casualties and losses, since they are numerous and attempts are made to ascertain them through different sources.
