Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan has received famous conductor and violinist Vladimir Spivakov who is in Armenia within the framework of concert tour of the CIS Youth Symphonic Orchestra.

Serzh Sargsyan welcomed the musician, saying that his visits to Armenia turn into considerable cultural event, RA presidential press service informed NEWS.am. He also added that Armenian people consider Spivakov their friend.

Vladimir Spivakov told the President about the concert program of the orchestra and idea of its creation aimed at gathering young musicians of different nationalities, as people of different cultures. According to him, power of music is that it can unite people when words are powerless.

He stressed that there are many talented musicians in Armenia, it is important to find them and create conditions for self-expression.
